| 中文描述 | 此病有兩種病症：其一，毛色變淺、毛髮稀疏蜷曲變短、且尾巴蜷曲；其二，毛色變淺、毛髮蜷曲變短，但毛髮並不常稀疏(Steffen)。較少色素覆蓋的區域感染的較不嚴重。在Simmental-Angus和Simmental-Holstein的動物常見，但在Gelbvieh 和Charolais也有病例。遺傳的機制尚不清楚。感染的小牛生長速率慢。 |

| 英文描述 | Two syndromes of this condition exist; one characterized by color dilution and a short, curly, and sparse hair coat with a poorly formed tail switch; a second with color dilution and short curly hair, but hair is not unusually sparse (Steffen). Nonpigmented areas are less severely affected. Most common in Simmental-Angus and Simmental-Holstein cross animals, but also recorded in Gelbvieh and Charolais cross cattle. The mode of inheritance is not understood. Affected calves can have poor growth performance. |
